Spring is one of my favourite seasons, when all those birds return, when all the flowers start popping through the soil. I enjoy using pieced backgrounds and wanted to try my hand at a 3D piece.

The tulips are hand coloured with Watercolour Wonder Crayons from Stampin' Up! The daffodils are made with recycled silk flowers as the centre. The crocuses are totally 3D with beaded centres. The leaves are both machine appliquéd onto the background and lightly tacked down.
